With the further development and popularization of the new energy sector, many countries have subsidy policies for energy storage systems. Germany, for example, launched a new subsidy program in Sep. 2023 aimed at promoting home energy storage systems.
Under the subsidy program, homeowners can receive financial support for 3 key components: charging stations, photovoltaic systems, and energy storage systems. The program will cover 25% of the total investment cost of a home energy storage system, with a maximum subsidy of €9,600. In addition, applicants who opt for a vehicle-to-grid (V2G) charging station can receive a subsidy of up to €10,200.
